Mississippi Land and Lakes is a recognized leader in the unique field of Comprehensive Recreational Land Design and Development. We focus on hunting, fishing and all outdoor activities on land located in America.

We are located in the beautiful Mississippi foothills region around Meridian, Mississippi. This area is located at the southern tip of the Appalachian Mountain range and is also the headwaters of the Pascagoula River, the largest undammed watershed in the United States. Our rivers and streams are pristine!

To make your dreams a reality requires an experienced forestry consultant, wildlife biologist, ecologist, engineering services, government programs advisor, plus a lodge and lake design and development consultant. We recognized there was a tremendous need to provide landowners with these critical services.     Randy is a licensed Mississippi Real Estate agent with Hill Real Estate Group LLC, Meridian, MS. After graduating from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry, Randy spent 30 years working in land and timber acquisition, management, and sales. In 2004, after developing the Whippoorwill Lodge, his first recreational land project, he recognized the tremendous need for a company that could offer comprehensive recreational land development services to American landowners and outdoor enthusiasts. Inspired by his passion for land and a vision to meet this demand, The Mississippi Land and Lakes Company was born!

    Cathy is the Chief Financial Officer for Mississippi Land and Lakes and a licensed Mississippi Real Estate Broker, as well as an associate broker with Hill Real Estate Group, LLC. Since 2007, she has worked extensively with forest product companies, banks, and attorneys to address diverse landowner needs. With 18 years of experience in residential, commercial, recreational, and land deals, Cathy brings a wealth of knowledge to her clients. She has been instrumental in developing and managing the Mississippi Land and Lakes business model, handling accounting and financial records for various properties and projects. As the company’s business guru and closing expert, Cathy’s patience, expertise, and dedication have been key to its success for over 41 years.

    Lauren is a licensed Mississippi Real Estate Agent with Hill Real Estate Group LLC in Meridian, MS. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Ecology from Rutgers University, with a focus on plants and invasive species. A native of New Jersey, Lauren relocated to Collinsville, Mississippi, in 2022 and has embraced the state’s charm and natural beauty. An avid outdoor enthusiast, she has worked as a Researcher and Land Steward for Rutgers University and as an Outdoor and Outreach Coordinator for L.L. Bean, where she guided hikes and instructed in kayaking, paddleboarding, and archery. Now part of the Mississippi Land and Lakes team, Lauren is learning the art of Comprehensive Recreational Land Development to improve and protect natural resources, helping others unlock the potential of their land.
